At the age of 14,  Nathan Gehri’s music career began when his dad snuck him into a venue so that he could play his first professional gig. Nathan studied jazz bass at the University of Alabama and held the coveted principal bassist position in the university's Wind and Jazz ensemble. Nathan plays electric, synth and upright bass across all genres of music.

After graduating, Nathan moved to Music City to begin his career in the Nashville music scene. Nathan has toured with major acts including, John Hiatt, Chris Janson, Adam Hambrick, Chase Bryant, American Young, Holly Williams, Ross Ellis, Native Run, Ryan Kinder, Lara Johnston, and many more.

In addition to live music, Nathan is a studio musician with a portfolio that includes a Latin Grammy award winning album and a Grammy-nominated album. He has recorded with John Hiatt, Juan Gabriel, John Gurney, American Young, Benjy Davis, and many more.
